review to come I love reading Jill Shalvis's books It so much fun reading them because of her sense of humor of each of them This one was funny, heart warming, and tear jerking i don't have a complaint I think there should be a sequel to it because I would love to see where the characters end up Thank you to Harper collins and Edelweiss for letting me read this in exchange for an honest review. Walker and Maze are characters that have a dark painful past Walker was put up for adoption at 2, Maze as a teenager They were put in the same foster home and immediately connected When a tragedy happened Heather, Maze, Cat and Walker remained close but becamedistant as well They each always met at the same time each year Maze and Walker are complex characters that I wish we could have gotten to know better and learnabout While they didn't see each other for 3 years, it seemed awfully easy for them to fall back together, despite their igniting chemistry Cat seemed like she had everything together, until we start seeing conversations between her and Dillon, her fiancé I enjoyed the book, these characters, and the story, but I didn't think it was the best one of the series or even as good as the last one I say this as a fan of Jill Shalvis! Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review. I adore this series, and the setting it takes place These books take sometimes hard interpersonal issues, and frankly some quite traumatizing ones, and really focuses on the friendships and family we find in the midst of them “Forever Girl” brings up some hard hitting trauma situations, but the love the characters find is priceless Love both as in the family of your heart and the romantic kind There are also some hilarious writing gems One of my favorite Jill Shalvis (forgive me for word choices post reading way past bedtime two nights worth of binge reading umm, these are always good binge reads) techniques are the chapter headings, and these do not disappoint Drunk Maze is hysterical Well, they all are. ARC provided by Netgalley. Touching story of relationships, past and present, that has many layers, each waiting to be exposed for good or bad.I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book All thoughts and opinions are my own. Beautiful story of friendship, life and secrets A reunion takes place due to a wedding and we see these wonderful characters come to life A great story and a romantic one as well. Another book that makes you laugh out loud Jill Shalvis’ books are what I need right now. Cat is getting married and she wants her two foster sisters and foster brother to be there But they haven't really kept up with each other, so she devises a plan to get them all back and connecting again It might work, it might blow up in her face But it's sure to be entertaining!I don't know guys This one started out as a mess It drops you right into a story where everyone has some major issue on their own, plus some shared trauma None of it explained up front, but there doesn't appear to be much of a reason for that as there's nothing super revelatory to the plot in their backgroundsat least nothing that makes sense to keep a secret and slowly reveal It ended up just frustrating me as a reader because motivations didn't make a lot of sense and the characters on their own weren't interesting enough to really make me invested I did hang on, and it got better, bit I almost quit this one a bunch of times I just went back and looked at the other books in this series and I haven't lived any of them 🤷 I might just stick with Susan Mallory for now These Jill Shalvis books, especially THIS I've, are just too damn angsty for me. `Download Pdf ✘ The Forever Girl ⇯ New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis does it once again with a heartfelt story of family, forgiveness, and secrets that have the power to change the course of than one lifeWhen Maze returns to Wildstone for the wedding of her estranged bff and the sister of her heart, it’s also a reunion of a once ragtag team of teenagers who had only each other until a tragedy tore them apart and scattered them wideNow as adults together again in the lake house, there are secrets and resentments mixed up in all the amazing childhood memories Unexpectedly, they instantly fall back into their roles: Maze their reckless leader, Cat the den mother, Heather the beloved baby sister, and Walker, a man of mystery Life has changed all four of them in immeasurable ways Maze and Cat must decide if they can rebuild their friendship, and Maze discovers her longheld attraction to Walker hasn’t faded with the years but has only grown stronger
