A decent conclusion to the series A little bitaction than many previous volumes, and I liked the little glimpses of the characters futures SERIES REVIEW Overall I enjoyed the series but was somewhat disappointed, it felt like a LOT of the conversations discussions about feelings were really drawn out, and would have preferred to learnabout the science and history of the alien worlds as well. Would re read the entire series over and over again It s super good and deep and very rich with plot, character development, and everything you would want to have in a story This is one for the ages even though not many people know about this series Give it a fighting chance and you won t regret it. This series had its ups and downs, but it was engrossing. This is a classic for a reason It s disturbing at times, but overall fascinating 4,5 stars I m leaving this review on the final volume because I read it in a different format from print manga.I first heard of Please Save My Earth one day walking through a video store and saw the OAV for pretty cheap Picking it up on a whim, I watched it and promptly got confused So much happened so quickly, the difference between past and present lives was confusing, not to mention having nearly 20 major and secondary characters to remember I watched the six episodes, saw the confusing ending that I m leaving this review on the final volume because I read it in a different format from print manga.I first heard of Please Save My Earth one day walking through a video store and saw the OAV for pretty cheap Picking it up on a whim, I watched it and promptly got confused So much happened so quickly, the difference between past and present lives was confusing, not to mention having nearly 20 major and secondary characters to remember I watched the six episodes, saw the confusing ending that wasn t, and filled myself in with some of the special features It wasn t a great experience, but I never forgot it.Fast forward about seven years and I decided that I had a bit of time, I might as well try reading the manga There had been some fascinating elements to the anime, and with 21 volumes of manga, the written version had to be better.I was wrong. It was great.Even knowing so much of the plot from the anime, I was completely caught up in the drama and mystery of Please Save My Earth I loved being able to truly get to know all the characters in both lives, and to be able to truly tell them apart bythan hairstyle The manga was also much darker than I anticipated, but it dealt with dark subjects in a skillful fashion neither dwelling on them nor taking them lightly.Finishing Please Save My Earth gave me the satisfaction of reading a story that came to its logical conclusion, even if I couldn t predict all of it I was cheering for our heroes, glaring at our villains, and generally getting thoroughly immersed in the world it created I will be recommending this to any friends who have even vague interest
