FREE DOWNLOAD ⛎ Les Bijoux, Volume 1 õ Lapis, the cursed son of a hunchback and a dwarf, lives in a world divided intoindependent mine states ruled by a higher class called the Habits The Habits use the enslaved lower class, the Spars, as their labour power in the mines However, an ancient prophecy foretells that there will be a chosen one who ll overthrow the ruling class and bring fortune back to the land Wheels of destiny are set into motion when proud and bumptious lord Diamond, who is a member of the Habits, cruelly kills Lapis parents and thus leaves the young man in a craving for vengeance Lapis, however, won t have his retribution with an easy cost as by his curse he is turn into a woman, Lazuli, who eventually falls in love with Diamond One of my favorites I love the way the writer wove gem lore into the story and the illustrations are gorgeous This manga is a bit weird, and will not suit everyone s tastes It s set in this kind of alternate reality history, and the artwork is really beautiful Our protagonist is a male who at times without his control becomes a female, and it is this female form that captures the interest and desire of one of this series main antagonists. There was really nothing about this manwha that I found appearing The characters were shallow and lacked solid motivation or development, the art was often ugly and its style made action sequences hard to follow, and the plot was poorly explained and didn t really seem to get anywhere in this trade. While I m not against its concept, I felt as though it was very poorly executed There s no real indication of why Lapis has such a destiny or why he is cursed in the way that he is There s no exp There was really nothing about this manwha that I found appearing The characters were shallow and lacked solid motivation or development, the art was often ugly and its style made action sequences hard to follow, and the plot was poorly explained and didn t really seem to get anywhere in this trade. While I m not against its concept, I felt as though it was very poorly executed There s no real indication of why Lapis has such a destiny or why he is cursed in the way that he is There s no explanation for why his parents believe that stealing gems will cure him Everything is just so vague and it gave me no burning need to read further to find out.Unfortunately not one for me I doubt I ll be continuing with this series A nice start Lovely art, although the cute chibi moments kind of ruin the tension at places The story is really grim and bloody at times, and the balance between that and the cuteness seems a bit off.Character development is rushed a bit, especially if they are meaning to establish a relationship between the hero ine and one of the villains We ll see.In general the world is explained sufficiently enough There s still a lot to be seen, and that s fine.
