A very truthful love story written by the husband of an early onset Alzheimer s Disease victim THis is a well written first hand account of the unravelling of their life together, and of his realization, gradually, that he was as much of a victim of the disease as was his wife. I listened to this on CD and it was very personal, raised some thought provoking questions I had never considered He did a great job of helping us understand their his journey through Early Onset Alzheimers I enjoyed it and it really held my interest. Barry s story, not Jan s Worst book that I have ever read. Such an interesting and heartbreaking insight into the the terrifying world of Alzheimer s I would think this is a must read for anyone finding themselves in the caregiver role. Good story, told by the journalist husband of a woman dying of dementia Emotionally evocative. a heartbreaking dose of reality someone is diagnosed every 70 seconds Barry Peterson tells his stoty of the dark journey he takes as his beloved wife, Jan, slips into oblivion.
